FIRE BAN
Effective immediately the VILLAGE OF MEOTA has imposed a total fire ban due to dry conditions.
This ban applies to ALL OPEN BURNING OF ANY OUTDOOR FIRE that may create a public safety hazard, including, but not limited to:

MEOTA – Located 43 kms northwest of North Battleford on Highway 26, the community of Meota is situated along the south shores of Jackfish Lake. Meota was officially incorporated as a Village on February 1st, 1911.
The Village is within walking distance of the Regional Park, the downtown core, library, beach and swimming area, mini-golf, concession, sailing club and nine-hole golf course.
